Mayor
Paul V. Pontieri, Jr... To Paul, "It's About
Leadership, It's About Time"
was not just a campaign slogan,
but more importantly a pledge.
He believed that with strong
leadership and a smart talented
Board of Trustees, the Village
of Patchogue could return to its
former glory. Under his
determined leadership, he and
his Board closed three major
Boarding Houses, provided an
award winning Work Force
Townhouse Development in “Copper
Beech,” took the Patchogue
Theatre from a liability to the
anchor of a now thriving
downtown and dredged the
Patchogue River for the first
time in 40 years. But more
important than these
accomplishments, is his vision
for our future, including a
revitalized Four Corners, an
ArtSpace Development that will
create an artist’s community and
a rebuilt Pool and a Recreation
Center for our children. It is
all about Progressive
Leadership for Patchogue.

Deputy Mayor Stephen
J. McGiff... As a
practicing attorney, Steve
provides guidance and tough
common sense solutions to the
challenges faced by the Housing
Department and Code Enforcement.
Under Steve's leadership,
fifteen overcrowded and unsafe
homes have been closed and
24-hour patrols keep uniformed
officers in the business
district and throughout the
Village to increase security and
make people feel safer. |

Trustee
Lori B. Devlin... A
successful sales executive with
a background in the arts, Lori
has taken a leadership role on
two uniquely different, high
impact initiatives. She chairs
the committee for the Local
Waterfront Revitalization
Program and provides leadership
and guidance to the committee
responsible for the
beautification of Patchogue
Village. Lori, who is a former
member of the Planning Board, is
also the Commissioner of
Planning and Zoning, working
closely with each board as they
face the challenges that lie
ahead as we revitalize our
neighborhoods and the downtown
business district. |

Trustee
John A. "Jack" Krieger... An entertainment, advertising
and marketing professional for
nearly 25 years, Jack has been
most instrumental in the
remarkable success of the
Patchogue Theatre for the
Performing Arts. His passion and
leadership has inspired the
Theatre Board, the staff and
more than 50 dedicated Theatre
volunteers. The not-for-profit
organization that runs the
Theatre now covers all of its
expenses and provides the
Village with money to help cover
the cost of capital improvements
to help maintain and upgrade the
Theatre. |
Trustee
Gerry Crean...
Gerry's expertise as a financial and investment advisor
gives him a keen sense to identify and take advantage of
economic opportunities that will create maximum benefit
for the community. His leadership, vision and skills as
a negotiator have resulted in the development of Copper
Beech Village on Gerard Street, Art Space and continued
downtown revitalization through his work with the
Business Improvement District. On the horizon, Gerry
will be a key contributor to the plan for future
redevelopment of the Four Corners. |
Trustee
Bill Hilton... A
business owner and former
chairman of the Zoning Board of
Appeals, Bill's hands-on
management style and leadership
as Commissioner of Parks and
Recreation has been responsible
for the success of the Patchogue
Beach Club, summer youth
programs, parades and Shorefront
Park events, including the
American Music Festival, Geico
Battle of the Bay, Optimist
Sailboat Regatta and fireworks
shows. He has spearheaded two
major recreation projects that
are vital to the continued
growth of his departments. The
renovation of the Halcyon Manor,
which will become the future
home of the Patchogue Recreation
and Senior Center and the
reconstruction of the Village
Pool. |
Trustee
Joseph Keyes
As Chairman of the Board
of the Community Development
Agency, Joe has planned and
managed several major projects
in Patchogue Village, including
the new Bandshell, Shorefront
Park restroom renovations and
Affordable Housing for
first-time home buyers. He is
responsible for bringing the CDA
into full compliance with New
York State Public Authority laws
and takes the lead in
negotiating administrative
agreements with CDA employees.
Joe's management, administrative
and hand's on experience as a
LIRR track construction and
maintenance supervisor, makes
him well qualified to serve in
his current role as Commissioner
of Public Works. Joe is
well-regarded as a community
leader, with long-time
involvement in many youth and
local service programs including
the Patchogue Youth Athletic
Association. |
